Watering Spikes with bottle attachment allow you to use almost any plastic bottle to make a self-watering plant system.  Our unique material allows your plant to decide when and how much water it needs.  You monitor when to add more water from the bottle.

Days of Watering:  A 10" pot with normal potting soil and a 17 fl. oz. (500 mL) beverage bottle will last 5-7 days for an indoor houseplant. Watering spikes with a water bottle will hold water for 5 to 15 days, depending on your plant, soil and bottle size used.

Watering Spike Bottles to Use: Watering Spikes will fit most plastic beverage bottles (PET bottles) with an inner diameter of 1.1 inches.

Watering Spike Tips: We recommend that you create a vented bottle by adding a hole or cut off the bottom of the bottle to easily refill your plant watering spikes. You can also leave the bottle intact and unscrew it from the watering spike to add more water.

It doesn’t work
We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our product. Please feel free to reach out to us if there is anything we can do for you. Suggestions we can provide are to ensure you are using an open-topped bottle or a bottle with a 1/16' or larger vent hole. Using a closed-topped bottle, instead of an open or vented bottle, can result in a vapor-lock which can deposit minerals and blocking the microporous channels in the tip. If you feel like this may have occurred, soak the tip in vinegar for 24 hours and rinse off to remove the deposits. Regards - The IFusion Technology Team
